About this event

Gait and Microprocessor Knees Course

This seminar provides physical therapists and other healthcare workers with an overview of gait and the individual with lower extremity limb loss. A progression of therapeutic concepts is addressed that begins with pre-prosthetic therapy interventions and continues through teaching the individual to negotiate advanced obstacles. Tips for training a patient to optimize the functions of a microprocessor knee are demonstrated during the symposium. Lastly, a review of current research related to MPK technology efficacy is presented.
